  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science

Course learning outcomes

On successful completion of the Bachelor of Life Sciences, graduates will be able to:

  1. demonstrate a broad knowledge of the principles of biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology as well as broader understanding of issues across life science disciplines
  2. interpret and evaluate scientific information, and communicate this information clearly and coherently to a range of audiences, for a range of purposes, using a variety of formats
  3. apply cognitive and creative skills to solve problems in a diverse range of life science related subjects
  4. discuss the socio-ecological impact of major health issues in tropical, rural and remote communities
  5. demonstrate personal and social responsibility and accountability through an awareness of ethical frameworks, by working safely and responsibly in individual and team environments
  6. reflect on current skills, knowledge and attitudes, in order to plan and implement ongoing personal and professional development needs.
