On successful completion of the Graduate Diploma of Engineering, graduates will be able to:

  1. Integrate and apply an advanced technical knowledge including an understanding of recent developments, in one or more engineering disciplines
  2. Demonstrate in-depth understanding of advanced engineering methods, including design processes, whole system approaches, contemporary project management tools, and decision-making strategies through their application in engineering practice
  3. Articulate and communicate ideas, arguments and conclusions clearly and coherently to specialist and non-specialist audiences through advanced written and oral English language skills and a variety of media
  4. Contribute to teams to achieve engineering project goals through advanced professional and leadership skills, self-motivation, creative thinking and entrepreneurship.
