The Graduate Certificate of Accounting may be awarded to students exiting a Master of Professional Accounting or Master of Professional Accounting-Master of Business Administration program prior to completing the requirements of that course, provided they meet the award requirements outlined below.

  3. Synthesise sustainable economic, social and environmental practices and value systems
  4. Integrate theoretical and technical accounting knowledge which includes a selection of auditing and assurance, finance, economics, quantitative methods, information systems, commercial law, corporation law and taxation law
  5. Apply established concepts to provide solutions to complex business and professional practice problems
  6. Critically analyse contemporary business issues using appropriate models and make reasoned recommendations
  7. Present complex information appropriately to both accountants and non-accountants using:

Clear and fluent written communication

  1. Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in achieving common goals
  2. Adapt sustainable accounting constructs and skills to theoretical or practical situations
