Award Requirements

Pre-requisites	Completion of an AQF level 7 bachelor degree at this or another university that includes at least six months of full-time studies in social and/or behavioural sciences; or an AQF level 7 bachelor degree in any discipline plus at least six months of full-time study at a minimum undergraduate level in social and/or behavioural sciences; or equivalent.
Minimum English language proficiency requirements	Applicants of non-English speaking backgrounds must meet the English language proficiency requirements of Band 3C – Schedule II of the JCU Admissions Policy.

Course learning outcomes	On successful completion of the Postgraduate Qualifying Program [Social Sciences] graduates will be able to: Demonstrate essential knowledge of Social and/or Behavioural Sciences consistent with at least 12 months full-time study or equivalent experience in these disciplines Convey information clearly and fluently, in high quality written form appropriate for their audience.
