Maths Explains Our World

MEOW (Maths Explains our World) workshops are delivered by JCU experts from a range of disciplines on the JCU Townsville campus. High achieving Year 8 students learn how maths can help to explain how the world works in contexts that are vastly different from the school classroom. Watch the video below to learn more about the workshops. For more information on when MEOW workshops will run, see the “What’s on” page.

Following the campus workshop information are resources to run your own MEOW workshop at your school or classroom worksheets to explore a topic that is relevant to North Queensland students.
