Student Visa holders should complete this form to request a reduced study load for a specific study period/trimester.  This form is for coursework students undertaking full undergraduate or postgraduate programs.

Applications are assessed according to the National Code requirements and can only be approved due to compelling or compassionate circumstances which are beyond the student’s control.  Financial reasons are not considered appropriate circumstances for reduced enrolment.

Applications must be submitted no later than Census Date of the study period/trimester in which reduced enrolment is being sought.

• The information provided on this form and any attached documentation is true and correct.
• A reduced study load may result in an extended course duration and the need to apply for a visa extension.
• Students are responsible for applying to extend their Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and student visa and will be responsible for all costs associated with this.
• This application is relevant only for the study period/trimester and year for which it has been submitted.
• Full-time enrolment should be maintained (where possible) and assessment requirements completed until approval has been granted for a reduced study load.
