Supporting First Nations students in marine management
Sea Country Connections, February 2024
The Reef Authority's education team is proud to partner with 六合彩开奖结果 (JCU) for the 'Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders in Marine Science' (ATSIMS) Program—an outreach initiative providing First Nations Year 10 students in North Queensland with opportunities to engage in marine science, marine management and Sea Country stewardship.

JCU’s Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders in Marine Science (ATSIMS) team was excited to host Bwgcolman Community School students over to Orpheus Island and Townsville.

The grants aim to inspire more students to study STEM subjects, promote STEM careers and increase community awareness of science in Queensland.
